Blend till smooth. For a thin consistency, you can add some more water.
Pour in glasses. I do not strain the juice, but if you want you can strain the juice.
Serve pineapple juice garnished with pineapple wedges or slices. For an Indian touch, you can sprinkle some black salt and roasted cumin powder in the juice.
Notes
If in case, you do not have a blender, then make this juice using a juicer.
While making the pineapple juice, it is best to discard the core of the pineapple. Since it can cause irritation to the throat and can also numb the tongue for some folks.
Sugar, roasted cumin powder and black salt are optional ingredients. You can skip these if you prefer.
You could also add some ginger and crushed black pepper to the juice. A bit of lemon juice can also be included but adjust the quantity of sweetener accordingly. Opt to add coconut water if you like.
For a sweet tasting pineapple omit adding the sugar if you like.
Ice cubes can be skipped. For a cold juice without using ice, chill the chopped pineapple cubes in the refrigerator before blending.
